Brett:I wanted to thank you for a great
season. When we decided to sign Ben up for soccer this season he
was very hesitant. After playing
club soccer for the past 6 years, he was tired of coaches yelling
and screaming and only caring about winning, click

MYSA
Coaching License Courses
Beverly is hosting 4 MYSA Coaching License Courses at the Beverly High School
Field House. DYS highly recommends these courses and will reimburse you for the
cost. These are excellent courses and not only teach about coaching soccer, but
about the philosophy of coaching youth soccer/sports. If you have never taken
one of these courses, please try to find time to take one, you'll be glad you
did. These courses are open to ALL COACHES and PARENTS who are interested in
coaching. Click here for more info. Attention
Parents! This video "Attitudes are Contagious" is a
must see as a soccer parent!
This video was produced by Mass Youth Soccer, our parent organization. The video
had its national debut at the US Youth Soccer Workshop in Indianapolis in 2004.
Both sessions were well-attended and the presentation of the video was well-received.

Attention
All Coaches
ALL NEW coaches and assistant coaches are required to complete a CORI form
for MYSA, regardless if you have completed one for another sport or youth program.
If you have any doubts of completing the form last fall, just do it again.
This must be done online at MYSA’s website, to get to the CORI form on
line click
here. Just follow MYSA's instructions. Coaches PLEASE communicate this
to your assistant coaches. DO NOT send CORI forms to the DYS Registrar. Also
if you have never filled out a DYS Coaches application, this must be done and
returned to the DYS Registrar. This form is available here.
IF YOU DO NOT COMPLETE THE CORI FORM, YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED ON THE FIELD WITH
CHILDREN. DYS WILL ENFORCE THIS POLICY.

Thanks
to all for making The DSSSF a huge success!
We have finished all the accounting for the Soccer Saluting Soldiers Festival,
and last night it was our pleasure to present Operation Troop Support with
a check for $7,700 from this year's event! This is a full 10% increase over
last year's total, and brings the grand total over 3 years to almost $20,000!
These figures do not include over $1500 in direct donations made directly to
the OTS representatives at the field this year. They were likewise overwhelmed
with the number of gifts, cards and supplies they collected. The Festival staff,
Danvers Youth Soccer and Operation Troop Support wish to again extend our sincere
thanks to you, your teams and parents as well as all of the volunteers and
sponsors who stepped forward for making this year's Festival such a success! The
