1) Mr. Bradley of Mass Premier Soccer presented the Mass Premier Soccer School of Excellence Program and answered questions put to him about said program. Looking to pilot the program on the North Shore and would like to have Danvers as the home base due to our working relationship with MPS. Board decided to pursue with David Tye working with MPS to see if possible.

2) Mr. Kevin Martin asked the board to reconsider and reinstate his son to the U-12 travel team that he was placed on to give that team a viable roster and removed after one game due to confusion of selection process and discord with another set of parents. After much discussion pro & con it was placed to a vote and passed to reinstate player for remaining fall season as long as ECYSA will reopen the roster.
As to the policy on U-10 players playing up that was drafted it was decided to table the discussion until the next meeting.

3) Secretary's Report
June & September minutes passed out and both are on website. Accepted as written. Links to team websites to be looked at by Bruce Ocko, Tom Guidi and Tom Conway, once approved by them the sites can be linked to DYS site.

4) Treasurers Report
Cash reports for Sept and Oct will be presented at the November meeting. All 2002 taxes have been filed. An audit is being done for 2001 due to found discrepancies between books and bank statements.

5) Administration
Confusion with the U-7’s to be addressed, all others working out fine. Coach’s clinic was a success, hoping to set up more.

6) Operations
New goals for Gates ordered. John George on line to be painted first week in October as stated in September.

7) Travel
Fall season off and running. Dec.1st deadline for spring registration of U-16 and above, mailing to go out in October. 42 players already registered. Teams will be formed and coaches chosen before Christmas by Travel Committee. Two DYS nights at the High School have been set up. DYS players to be admitted free in Uniform. Girls game on Oct.7th and Boys game on Oct.15th both games start at 6:30PM.

8) Policy's
All current and past DYS policy's were handed out. BOD asked to go over and will discuss at next meeting any corrections and additions needed.

9) Field Development
Committee formed to look into areas that could be developed into soccer fields. Committee members are Brett Amico, Jeff Chambers, Larry & Laura Davis, John Barrows, Janet Gargan and Bob Gabel

10) AGM
AGM is slated for Thursday, November 20, 2003, 7:00PM @ the High School Cafe if available

11) Other Business
Calendar is a work in progress
DYS Photo Day went well
Dance is October 25th, flyers made up and given to coaches to hand out
ITC has updated form on website & a flyer based on policy has been drafted for parents
Special Meetings were brought up and discussed, in general, if an issue needs a BOD vote then all voting members will be contacted, if not then those concerned with the issue be it BOD officers, a committee or combination of both are within DYS policy. The meetings that were held over the summer and in September were handled within policy.
