Diane MacInnis spoke for Andrea and said 235 registered players have been at tryouts. Overall Sports Pilot has been great
Treasurer’s report: Maureen Merritt
Maureen submitted treasurer’s report. She gave a brief description on what was spent in the month of April. Diane MacInnis made a motion to accept, second by Dave Thomson. All in favor no oppositions.
VP of Intramural’s report: Sharon Pollock
DYS at this point has 470 registered players.

There were some field issues, one Saturday there was a track & field event. They have posts with ropes to section the area. Pretty many kids were having fun and it didn’t affect them. Coaches are great.
U8 girls- going very well, great attendance. The coaches decided to change practices to 30 minute practice/30 minute team practice/ 30 minute scrimmage.
U10 girls-very positive, 20 player’s group practice. Al Giannita made a comment we should have Mps just one night and run it.
U10 boys-good times Saturday mornings and at Gates. It’s been very positive. Some problems with MPS. Kids are showing up. After 3 weeks the coaches decided to go back to regular games. Saturday mornings will be group practice than Sunday games.
Sharon and Dave Kamens have met with Lynnfield group to discuss the intramural travel program. They will follow ECYSA rules. How about Travel uniforms?
New coach’s applications on line and new player rating process.
U8 boys-MPS focus solid attendance. ½ registered are participating. This group wants to continue with the MPS training and even pay for the $65/hr coach. Jeff MacInnis said to check with Manny Lopes to see what is left in the budget and how he wants to spend it.
U10 girls-Very positive

There have been some rain outs.
Tryouts went well. 71/81 boys
went and 125/146 girls went. Almost 100%
positive feedback. Waiting on coaches
evaluations. The third tryout will be
6/6 time to be determined.
VP of Operations: Frank Missettt, not present
Frank Missett was not present, but Kevin Mallon was as he gave an update for Frank. The town of Danvers has requested DYS to paint the shed @ Gates field. Some one vandalized the shed and painted graffiti on it.
There was some question on getting the key for Aggie copied, but it is a master key and it can not be duplicated.

Trying to finalize the DIT. 1 U14 girls team and 1 U14 boys team dropped off. Down 2 or three U10 team. Two is okay if we need field space/three would be bad. U12 girls not sure. U12 boys not planning but found a team on waiting list.
U16 gave up 5 teams and 4 games and finals.

There has been a great attendance on clinics, same kids which means they are happy with the training. The MPS reps have been very enthusiastic. There have been a small number of coaches there. There are two more clinics scheduled:

Teams have been notified per tournament coaches.
Dianne MacInnis gave her resignation as the Intramural Tournament Director.

Fundraising: John O’Connor
70 Rev tickets have been sold. Costco will supply whatever we need to the DIT
Dicks will donate $500. John was trying to get a raffle going. It could be a Breakers t-shirt, Dick’s gift basket or a Rev’s soccer ball. John was also thinking of make your own sundae, end of June for a fundraiser. The on-line apparel is still couple weeks away.
Jeff Chambers said traditionally need dollar amount to put a logo. We have to know amount for that.

All set with Neatco.
Scholarship Committee: Janet Gargan
We had 2 qualified applicants for the scholarship. She wants to give these two and reserve the other unused scholarship $ for next year.

Jeff Chambers said that ECYSA will not sanction any U8 tournament. Can not call it a tournament-Jamboree will be Okayed, non competitive.
