1) Secretary’s Report

June minutes handed out, on website and accepted as written.

2) Treasurers Report

Full report for June/August to be given in Sept. Trading patches were
discussed and $200 per vendor approved for rough draft proposals. Tom C will contact DIT vendor and Larry will contact Cranney Enterprises and will ask Neal Hovey about Extreme and other DIT vendor. Recap of DYS apparel donation to playoff champs goes as follows: ECYSA Playoffs Champs $50 per player plus two coaches and for State champs it goes up to $100. So far the Danvers Attack was the only team to order and $850 check was approved.

3) Administrations

Intramural Teams being form with numbers available, U-7 boys group needs coaches, letter to be sent out to parents. DYS will continue U-10 with Topsfield for fall but will reassess in spring. Topsfield needs to provide better communication and will be asked for confirmed numbers for spring in Jan./Feb. Schedule needs to get to Jerry Moran ASAP.

4) Operations

YMCA field work is done and our end was under budget, it was suggested that we donate the balance to offset the Y’s cost for clearing and barrier. Mentioned that DYS is the only in-town sports group that the Y allows field use to. Final vote benched until Sept. Gates field has been resodded at goalmouths and as needed, coaches asked to stay away from goals and make use of the kick-backs. Field painting will not be done until the Thursday before season starts.
We will not be using Riverside this year, instead John George will be used.

4)ITC

New co-chairs are Chuck Mower and David Kamens. Fall teams formed with no U-8 boys team. Very low numbers.

5)Travel

Letters went out in July. Out of state player just moved into town to be given a try-out after taking to her former coach. Fall Travel Directors/ New Coaches meeting to be held on August 31st @ 7:30 PM at Masco. Schedules and player cards should be available after 3:00PM on Sept. 1st. 18 teams with 8 new coaches this fall. ECYSA approved one player to play down a group due to size of player and DYS approved one player to remain in U-10’s with her school grade
mates. Nine DYS teams went to ECYSA playoffs with six champs. Five went to States with two champs - Destiny and Destroyers. Way To Go!

6)DIT

Job well done! Volunteers still the biggest issue, Danvers teams will be required a mandatory number of hours plus the coach will be required to put in one night at the phone bank.

7) New Business

Nominations for all board positions are now open in preparation for the AGM in November.
