I.     Introductions:
             None needed

II.    Secretary's Report:
             December minutes were accepted as written and posted on web site. General e-mails sent to remind of Board and DIT meetings, will continue sending each month. Both meetings will be announced in the Danvers Herald also.

III.   Treasurer's Report:
             Cash report & operating activity thur December 2002 accepted as written. Decided that it would be of interest to increase timelines of CD's for better returns. Will look at high spending months to work out maturity dates. Spring ECYSA fees paid and Coaches Corner Tickets purchased.

IV.   Registration:
             Town wide sports registration day will be February 8, 2003. Plan on holding four nights of registration, tentative dates are April 16 & 18, May 8 and June 11. May have one weekend registration at fields, maybe first weekend in May, would pass out flyers and/or use A-Frames weekend before to announce. Will be taking registrations all six nights of Travel tryouts.

V.   Administration:
             Meeting needed to reform some of the intramural teams. David Tye will set up.

VI.   Operations:
             Talked to Lenny Mercier at the Y. There will be additional parking on the field side. DYS to put up barrier similar to Gates to prevent anyone driving on the field. The Y field is slated to be refurbished this year.

VII.  Travel:
             All teams are registered for the spring, Kudos' to Janet for having all the Danvers teams ready with rosters and player cards. We have 7 new teams in the U-16 & U-18 brackets. Mike Fitzpatrick, Ed Dattoli, Tom Conway, Bob Barrows, Janet Gargan, Mark Dabrieo and Kate Sweeney were accepted as head coaches. Seven U-16 boys will play on a Topsfield team and three U-18's will play for Midddleton. On the girl's teams we are placing girls from Salem and Middleton. All U-14 boys that were on a waiting list have been placed on teams for spring. We still have room for U-12 boys. Tentative dates for travel tryouts are May 3 & 4, 10 & 11, and 17 & 18. Final dates and age groupings will be announced. MOTC dates have been changed to June 20-21-22.

VIII. DIT
        Invitations were E-mailed out, as of January 8, 76 teams are registered and deposits are coming in. There are 22 Danvers teams not registered yet. Only six regrets so far. DIT patch design will be checked on this week. The new regular Danvers patches are in: the older ones will be given out to the younger teams while the new design to the older ones. The Renegades will be playing a regular season game in the stadium on Saturday, May 24th. Tickets will be available like last year. The first DIT meeting will be held on January 22, 2003, 7:30PM at the Stop & Shop meeting room.

IX.   Dance:
             Date, time and place to be sent out to the Roundabout.

X.    ITC:
             No new business.

XI.   Player Development:
             No new business.

XII.  Referees:
             The mentoring programs and workshops on the ECYSA web site and the ones that Jerry Moran runs will be looked into. Possibly combine one of Jerry's workshops and a basic in-town "What to do?" night discussed. Bob Gabel and Neal Hovey will look into.

XIII.  Old Business:
             A) Calendar dates needed ASAP> E-mail to Jeff Chambers at JSC_soccer@hotmail.com
             B) Budget was discussed. Both DIT and DYS had additions and deletes, will be reworked accordingly. Approved based on said changes. DYS taxes discussed. Mike Grandmasion to be asked some questions concerning the taxes. Bruce Ocko will take care of.
             C) Church payment approved.

XIV. New Business:
             A) Jeff Chambers to go to a town meeting for all youth sport league's presidents. Some of the matters to be discussed are field needs, schedules and the possibility of a maintenance field fee.
