Secretary’s Report
January BOD
minutes have been posted on website. Jeff
Chambers made a motion made to accept January meeting minutes; motion was
seconded by Dianne MacInnis, motion accepted.
President’s report
No report.
Registrar’s Report
After
Saturday’s registration, we have total registrations of 865 for the year. Travel:
total girls registered are 215 as follows: U12G – 77, U14G – 87, U16G – 30, U18G –
21. Total boys registered are 182 as
follows: U12B – 57, U14B – 66, U16B -
41, U19B – 18.
Treasurer’s Report
Registration fees of $4,340 were deposited. Donation from Verizon for $750 was also deposited. Budget was adjusted to reflect registration
fee increases as approved at January’s board meeting. Registration fees for the
DIT will decrease by approximately $4,000 due to reduced entry fees for
Bruce Ocko suggested that we use caution regarding approving a budget
with a deficit going forward due to unforeseen expenses. We have made a large commitment to the
VP Admin Report
We will have to change our hotline number with the new Voice Com voice
mail service. The service is $20 per
month for up to 1,500 calls. The intramural
coaches will need to rate players from fall.
We will still be using Mass Premier for the U-6 program.
VP Ops Report
Dave Tye reported for Brian Harrison.
Field permits filed. Brian will be ordering new nets and balls after
taking inventory.
Travel Director’s Report
The coaches’
meeting for U12 - U14 will be on March 29th at the Georgetown
Country Club. U16 - U19 coaches will
meet on April 2nd, also at the Georgetown Country Club. The
U10 – U14 season will begin on April 7th, while the U16-U19 season
begins April 15th.
COMMITTEE REPORTS:
Next meeting will be held on Tuesday, February 13 at Stop and Shop. We will have 9 or 10 small sided fields. We will have 5 sites this year including
Essex Aggie. 72 teams are registered to
date.
Jeff Chambers discussed a few options for reducing fees for
Pictures
We will
continue to use Captive Images for the upcoming year (fall of 2007), but we
will not sign the agreement to use them for the fall of 2008. We will reevaluate after the fall of 2007
pictures have been completed based on our satisfaction.

Gilmore information by mid March to have it included in his first issue which
will be mailed in April.

DYS Camps/Clinics: Jeff MacInnis is looking into
arranging some pre-season indoor clinics.
