Various board members and their families !

The combined July/August meeting was held on August 1^st at the Clarkson residence. Families and board members were invited for this social activity. Thanks to the Clarkson family for their hospitality !

During the evening, the board took 15 minutes to discuss business and the upcoming fall season. Highlights of the discussion :

Amended bylaws to the Danvers Youth Soccer Association, Inc. were approved. These bylaws can be found on the web under the "About DYS and Board / policies" section.

Ed Wisniewski was voted in as the Travel Director for the 2001-2002 season.

David Tye was moved to a Corporate member while Jeff Chambers and Shelly O'Donnell were moved to Associate Corporate members.

This year there will be coaches meetings for both the intramural and travel coaches (separately). Tentative date for the Intramural Coaches Meeting is August 28^th. The travel coaches meeting is TBD.

The Essex Country Travel season starts Saturday September 8^th. Tentative starting dates for the intramural program and U6 are Sunday September 9^th and Saturday September 15^th, respectively.

All field permits have been requested and there is no expected problems.
