628 players are registered so far for the fall versus 500 registrations at same time last year.  Implementation of late fee seems to have helped considerably.   Letters and emails recently went out to players from last year who had yet to register for the up coming season.

VP Operations Report Brian Harrison

The field permits have been filed (Aug. 18th).  Gates looks really good.  We will need to use two fields at Plains.  We might possibly need to use Rotary.  Brian would like to change the field format at Smith School.  The YMCA looks good.

New Business

Rino Vitolo, DYS coach and parent, asked to speak on behalf of his daughter (U14 Jr.)  who was placed on the “B” team.  He believes that she was wrongly placed and asked that she be moved up.  Board members explained the process that the board has in place in regards to player movement.  If a player’s team placement is in question, various board members will watch the player over the course of a few games and determine if movement is necessary.
