VP Operations Report Frank Missett

On Saturday April 5th, Frank will hold an equipment distribution meeting at Plains.  Brian Harrison reported that the back field will be used at Gates.  The sod will be installed on Field #1.  At the YMCA, for the time being, the fields committee will do some field improvement work themselves and the major work that we approved recently will be postponed until August.  Some clean up work needs to be done at Gates.  The Essex Aggie is in rough shape.  Brian has requested fertilizer.  The Essex Aggie’s Girls Lacrosse team will be using the field until 5:15PM on weekdays, so practice times will need to be scheduled accordingly.

Travel Director’s ReportDave Kamens

Dave is putting together a practice schedule for all travel teams.  Schedules were mailed out today.  There is an error on the U-14 girls schedule.  Tryouts will held on Sunday 5/4 & 5/18 and Friday 5/9 & 5/16.  MPS will be on hand to help out with the tryouts as a benchmark.  Track boosters want to sell track sports bags at the DIT.  We can possibly set them up at Gates.  Dave will talk to Neal about this.  Revolution wants to partner with DYS to have a group outing at Gillette.  Dave will look into the cost.
