Spring is rapidly approaching and its time for us to start getting organized
for the season. Here a few items, please read carefully.

1. Does anyone have the PUGG nets from the fall? Our Operations volunteers
were taking inventory a few weeks ago and noticed they are missing. Please
let me know if you do have them and when you can return them to the Plains
Garage.

2. Tournament Soccer - DYS hosts the Danvers Invitation Tournament (DIT)
every Memorial Day Weekend. During the DIT we run a MicroSoccer tournament
just for our Danvers U06 and U07 players. I have attached a previous year's
flyer for your information. Bob Gilmore is the coordinator for this and
will be supplying you with an update and more information soon. Bob will
also be looking for coaches for MicroSoccer teams.

3. Manny Lopes and Sharon Clement are working on organizing weekly U07
practices for any and all U07 teams that would like to participate. The
group practices are a great way to take advantage of each others coaching
strengths and ideas. Look for more from Manny and Sharon as the season
approaches.

4. We will also continue to make MPS session available to coaches and their
teams on Saturday mornings after the U06 Fundamentals Program. If this ends
up being in conflict with the group practices we can cancel it anytime.

5. Please poll your fall teams to see if all your players are returning and
let me know the status. We will probably have a few new players to add to
teams.

6. We are looking for a Division Coordinator for the U07 Boys group.
Division coordinators will meet with their coaches towards the end of the
season to evaluate all players in their division. In the fall the
coordinator will assist in creating balanced teams. Occasionally you will
be asked to distribute flyers and other information to your coaches.
