VP Administration ReportJeff MacInnis

Registrations are still coming in, especially at the U7 level; thereby the teams are growing too large.  Jeff may have to expand the number of U7 boy’s teams.  Mass Premier Soccer (MPS) will be running the fall fundamental clinics.  Flyers with dates and times will be posted on the website.   Brian Harrison brought up the idea of DYS running a goalie clinic.  Dave Kamens is going to contact a current DYS coach who has extensive coaching experience and has expressed interest previously in running a goalie clinic.  A long discussion ensued about the idea of possibly using a “technical director” for overseeing DYS coach/player training.

VP Operations Report Brian Harrison

U7’s will play at John George – 3 fields are painted now.  We may need a fourth.  U8’s will be playing at Smith and the YMCA.  U10 Boys games are at Gates.  Moved U10 fields to field 2 at Gates.  Gates looks great.  Practicing from side to side should be encouraged to help keep the goal mouths in good condition.  U10 Girls will play at Plains which is in tough shape.  Brian has held two nights to distribute equipment.  He will hold equipment night tomorrow at Plains.
