Permitted fields:

Smith School - this is the primary site for small sided Soccer. For Spring 09 the backfield will have 2 small- sided fields painted, with some limitations on the front field in the spring due to maintenance.

Plains Park Utility Field - this is a “SUNDAY Only ” site for Soccer.

Gates Field - this is DYS primary Full Sided Soccer site. There is POSITIVELY NO PARKING AT THE SENIOR CENTER DURING THE WEEK. Please remember, coaches are responsible for rolling the nets off the fields after the last game or practice, the last coach at the field is responsible for making sure all DYS equipment is locked in the shed and that the gate to the parking lot is locked.

John George Park - this is Softball’s primary site. DYS Travel teams and Lacrosse alternate practice days on MWF.

Essex Aggie – These fields are usually available after 5:15 PM weekdays, practice days are split with Lacrosse. Saturday U12 Travel games use this site. Sundays Lacrosse games are played here.

Alternative Sites:

Riverside School - during the week the school has after school programs and we must not interfere with school’s activities.

High School - In front of the school, JV field and the small soccer field to the left of the school. Keep in mind that the small field is used by Lacrosse and the JV field is used by the high school. If there is a baseball game going on it could prevent the use of some areas.

Highland School - Baseball and Softball have permits and you must yield to them.

Great Oak School - Baseball and Softball have permits and you must yield to them.

Thorpe School - Open in Fall 09

Williams School - Baseball and Softball have permits and you must yield to them.
